Experts in extensions, brickwork and building alterations

Great service from JMccBuild again. Really care about the finish and making sure the customer is happy with the job. Highly recommended 🙂

Jake and his team recently completed a garage conversion for us. Jake and his team did a great job and we’re really happy with the result. Jake’s team are professional and very tidy and respectful, which is always appreciated. No complaints from us!

We recently had a two‑storey side extension and a single-storey rear extension built by J McC Build, including a new garage, an additional bedroom and ensuite, a kitchen-diner and utility room with a downstairs WC and a rebuilt porch, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, the team were professional, reliable and incredibly hardworking. Communication was excellent throughout, and any questions we had were answered clearly and promptly. For bigger decisions, we were consulted before the work was started so we could carefully plan how we wanted the final layout. We were kept informed of what would be happening at each stage of the project. The workmanship and attitude throughout the project was brilliant — every detail has been finished to a high standard, and the new spaces blend well with the original house. The whole team were a pleasure to have around and were considerate to our neighbours as well. They were easy to talk to and were alwaysu happy to talk through the best way to do things so we would have the final outcome we wanted. We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone considering building work.

I recently had a chimney stack and brick fireplace removed. Jake and his team completed it all in less than 2 days and did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again on any future build work.

Jake and his team completed a kitchen extension for us at the end of 2025 and we can’t recommend them enough. They were all an absolute pleasure to have around; good humoured, very tidy workers, considerate to my home working and our neighbours. They kept us fully informed throughout and gave really helpful ideas and suggestions. 10/10!

I can not fault JMccBuild. They recently did building work on my kitchen. They knocked a wall out, put the steels in & the bifold doors & the radiators. Jake & his team are outstanding. I was kept updated & each person that came to my house was polite & respectful. Absolutely outstanding. I had to wait for the work to start as they are so busy but I completely understand why they are in the demand. They helped me with ideas when I did not quite understand & could not decide. A suggestion of where to put my radiators (thanks Craig) was just perfect.
